The Grasmere Players, in their current formation have been in existence for 60 years. Refounded in 1949 after the Second World War the "Players" have been dedicated to producing plays for our local audiences and the many visitors who come to our village.

Grasmere is in the very heart of the English Lake District, surrounded by a wonderful mountain landscape. It is, of course, also world-renowned as the home and final resting place of the poet William Wordsworth and has many other connections with famous Romantic poets and painters of that period.

You will find here listings of our current and past projects; please have a look around and come and enjoy a visit.
