Danny Blenkharn is outstanding as 19-year-old Billy Fisher. At odds with his parents and bored with his dull job, he escapes into fantasy. Telling different stories about himself and his family to everyone he meets lands him in ever deeper trouble as his lies become wilder and he tries to keep his three fiancées apart. | ||||

| Verity Tebay, playing the ever forgiving Barbara with bovine placidity, astound the audience by her ability to eat countless oranges at a great rate with no apparent ill effects. Rachel Slater bursts in like a whirlwind as Rita the sex-pot virago, while Ellie Hunt plays sweet Liz, the much maligned hippy with faultless acting but insufficient scruffy appearance. |
